Rob was born in Eugene, Oregon... then raised in DeKalb, Illinois... then in Williamsburg, Virginia. He is a self-professed "faculty brat," growing up in those different college towns before leaving for university himself. Rob graduated from Northwestern University in 1992 with a double-major in Theatre and Philosophy. He can talk about acting but please don't ask him any questions about Kierkegaard.
